History

The territory was created in July 1776, when Americans fought for independance and won. Though, it completely lost it's independance in 2009 when Canada started the Canadian Manifest Program, and started the Great Friend War. This immense region pretty much comprises all of modern Canada.

The United Territories is comprimised of the following Districts:

Alabama Alaska Arizona Arkansas California Colorado Connecticut Delaware District of Columbia Florida Georgia Hawaii Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Maine Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Montana Nebraska Nevada New Hampshire New Jersey New Mexico New York North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Oregon Pennsylvania Rhode Island South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Vermont Virginia Washington West Virginia Wisconsin Wyoming

In 2009 the Government of Canada renamed the territory to United Territories, dropping the "States".

The Great Friend War

After Former President George W. Bush's second 4 year term term, The United States' economy/political power/etc. collapsed just as the Canadian Manifest Program started running. Canada declared war on the United States in April 2009. The United States, being in a worse position than the Great Depression, was unprepared and could not fight back well. The war ended quickly with total victory to Canada in July 2009.

After Canada successfully got to the Washington DC and burned the capital (including the White House... again...), the Americans asked for international help. After recent years, the United States had been shunned by the world. The battle was left between Canada and the United States only. The United Nations had since then fallen apart as it was proven as a useless organization in 2008.

The United States surrendered after Canada took over all but 6 states. Texas, Florida, Hawaii, New Mexico, Louisiana and Alabama.

Thus ending the existence of a sovereign United States after being a country for 233 years.

Economy

The territory enjoys vast geological resources including coal, copper, lead, molybdenum, phosphates, uranium, bauxite, gold, iron, mercury, nickel, potash, silver, tungsten, zinc, petroleum, natural gas and timber.

Language

The United States Never had an official language at the time of Canadian Domination, but the dominant ones were English and Spanish. English and Spanish were made the official languages of the United Territories in 2009 by the Canadian Government, after lengthy and bitter debate.

UT residents have a right to use English and Spanish in a territorial court and in debates and proceedings of the legislature. Laws are legally binding only in their Spanish and English versions, and the government only publishes laws and other documents in other languages when the legislature asks it to. Furthermore, access to services in any language is limited to institutions and circumstances where there is significant demand for that language or where it is reasonable to expect it given the nature of the services requested. In reality, this means that English and Spanish language services are universally available and there is no guarantee that other languages, will be used by any particular government service except for the courts.

Culture

The Culture of The United Territories was known as "American Culture" until Canada took over.

Ever since, the Canadian government has eliminated all American Media, Television, Music, etc and has replaced it with Canadian in order to help prevent "Americanization" (simply being swallowed up by the United States Citizens)
