Triddle was a regular caller to Free Talk Live until July 2006, and is known for a combination of covering detailed topics such as court cases and doing outlandish stuff on the air such as openly discussion drug use, calling in during a manic episode, and bartering Ian on the air for a software contract. <this area is a stub, please add more info>

Biography

Man or beast? Is he a man? Is he a Sasquatch? Who is the real Triddle?

Triddle from Washington on the air, Tyler Riddle in person, tyler_riddle on myspace, is member of the Free State Project, FTL AMPlifier, and FTL Wiki sysop; he is well-versed in Unix and other technical subjects. He tries to impart some of the wisdom he has gained from being an administrator at Wikipedia to the users of this Wiki, usually in vain.

Even though he is a computer geek, he is going to college to learn how to weld. At this time, he is certified for structural steel up to 1 inch thick in all positions with stick, 7018 electrode. He is also experienced in TIG and wire feed welding and basic metallurgical properties of steel.

Secret plans

Triddle has secret plans to singlehandedly take over Free Talk Live by bombarding them with as much of himself as possible. By calling up to 5 times a day and sending in over 40 emails a week his plan is clearly getting noticed. Ian is quoted as saying "I feel like we've had a good dose of Triddle for the moment" and a post in the AMPlifier only forum said "Maybe Ian should keep Manwich and fire Triddle." Clearly his tactics are working but need to be modified to be slightly more subversive in order to avoid detection.

Smoking Terrorist

The Clark College Smoking Ban personally effects Triddle and he is fighting against it by smoking on the campus at will. He is putting to the test his belief that security can not possibly enforce the ban.

• Created TortureProtest.org.
• It's sick but Triddle has joined the FTL fanclub.
• Created a slideshow about a medical marijuana protest in Sacramento, California, and the actions of the United States Federal Government in this regard.
• Amateur photographer
• Worked on the wpfsck project which, among other things, applied an artificial intelligence system to finding stub articles on Wikipedia that had outgrown their stubness.
• Wrote Parse::MediaWikiDump which is a Perl module used to access MediaWiki, and because of that, the Wikipedia, dump files.
• Tried to call in once about the explosively pumped flux compression generator but that didn't go over very well.
• Put a progress meter on the cp command for OS X, with out using ncurses or any other graphical library.
• Star Wreck:In the Pirkining is one of his favorite feature length movies and you can watch it for free! Unless someone told you, you would never know it was made almost entirely in one apartment.

Recipe

Tyler's mashed potatoes go great with BBQ or anything else for that matter.

1. Boil similarly sized chunks of cut up potatoes until done.
2. Add in sour cream (no milk!) and lots of graded cheese; pepper jack works best.
3. Mash away until you like the consistency. If they don't ever get thin enough for you, add more sour cream.
