The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), is a U.S. federal program. It was created after the 9-11 terrorist attacks in order to fight the War on Terror. It was initially a division in the Department of Transportation but was later moved into the Department of Homeland Security.

The TSA's most visible form is the security at every major airport which each flyer must pass through.

The TSA also enforces the no-fly list, which has been known to prevent innocent people from flying, including senators [1] and infants [2].

Ironically, the TSA's mission statement claims to "ensure freedom of movement for people and commerce."[3]
