Great work

I think we can all use a good pat on the back here - this article really shaped into something that is pretty good. Inflammatory yet informative; very fun to read. Thanks everyone, wikis are really cool. :-) Triddle 10:23, 7 April 2006 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Yeah, this has turned out great. The progress we've made gives me an idea. Article quality seems to grow exponentially as the number of editors increases linearly. Right now, most of our articles have had only a few editors adding content. This is probably our most-edited one, and it's definitely one of the best.
So, what if we picked some "article to improve" every week/2 weeks/whatever? Everyone interested would descend on that article and make it as good as they can. It would be totally voluntary, of course. We'd also need a page where people can suggest articles that have potential, but aren't there yet, and we can decide which ones to improve. We could also tie it into featured articles, but we wouldn't have to. --Rabidfurby 14:52, 7 April 2006 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Good idea - I am a fan of increasing quality vs increasing quantity. Triddle 17:19, 7 April 2006 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Citations

Does anyone have a citation for the locality in Australia banning smoking in cars? I've so far not managed to find any evidence of this, only articles of the parliamentary inquiry of banning smoking in cars.
