Non-Aggression Principle
From Free Talk Live
The Non-Aggression Principle is an ideal central to libertarian values. It states that no one holds the right to initiate force or fraud against the person or property of another human being. However, this principle does allow for self-defense.
The principle has its roots from the classical liberal "harm principle" and is sometimes derived from the concept of self-ownership.
It is also known as Zero Aggression Principle, or their shortened forms, NAP and ZAP.
