Little known facts about New Orleans
- NO HURRICANE destroyed the city. Hurricane Katrina passed over with minimal damage. The government's levees failed, causing billions of dollars in damage by the ensuing FLOOD.
- The government actively prevented Wal-Mart from delivering much needed supplies to endangered victims due to massive amounts of red tape, FEMA and the military's desire to play the hero. The number of deaths caused by this gross abuse of power can not be clearly determined.
- A truck of ice ordered by FEMA left Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on Septemper 6, and went to Louisiana. Then it was sent to Georgia but was rerouted before it arrived to South Carolina, then to Cumberland, Maryland, where it sat for three days at an added cost to taxpayers of $9,000.
