The Middle East is a Euro-centric tern for a region with no clear definition, centered on the economically crucial Suez Canal and expanding as far into Africa as Morocco and Somalia, as far into Europe as Albania, and as far into Asia as Pakistan and Kazakhstan. Since the decline of the Roman Empire, the core of this area was dominated by the Semitic peoples, over 95% of whom follow the religion of Islam, and later came under the influence of Turkic peoples, who are even more homogeneously Muslim.

As this region weakened relative to Western Europe, even before World War 1 as the result of which hegemony over Middle East was transfered from the Ottoman Empire, the superpowers that be (most notably United Kingdom vs France, and then United States vs Russia) saw it as a pivotal region for world domination - a vulnerable heartland rich in natural resources, and essential to dominance of international trade. For more than a century, Western powers have meddled in this region, bringing great indignity to the people that live there.

After WW2, open colonialism became unpopular, and a new method of projecting military presence was needed in order for the British troops to withdraw. Thus the state of Israel was born - a military base disguised as a nation, populated by desperate remnants of the European persecution of the Jews, funded almost entirely with Western money, most of which comes as the result of taxation and selective trade agreements, and some of which comes from misleading Kashrut product certification services.
