Michigan Corruption
This is intended to be a list of specific, actual corruption events. People wonder why Michigan is last in employment, last in business prospects (percent of companies to hire in current quarter)? Because the citizens are treated so poorly. Here's the evidence.
Examples of events listed here would be:
- Probation officers not following their own published rules.
- Police being overly violent in a situation that does not call for it.
- Judges making a judgement which clearly has benefits for that judge or a judge's friend. (Conflict of interest)
- Someone being arrested without reasonable cause.
- Someone being jailed without evidence.
- Public official taking bribes (you will need proof of this, not just a hunch).
- Problems with public educators or education leadership.
Please exclude from this page:
- Please exclude the Michigan Congress from this page. They will need their own page.
- Anything to do with drug charges. If the drugs were on you, they are considered yours. So stop whining and stop hanging out with druggies.

Corruption entries should take the following format:

Police smash tail light
Police pulled me over for a smashed tail light. I told him I saw it working before I left work. He went back to the rear of the car to check, smashed the light, and told me "Yup, you got a tail light out." Ticket was $100.
