Liberala partiet ("The Libertarian Party") is a political party in Sweden, founded in 2005 by a group of libertarians who felt the political parties were all going in the socialist direction, and wanted to do something about it.. The party aims to establish minarchy. To get registered with the Election Authority in Sweden, a party has to get at least 1500 signatures. The Libertarian Party did not get 1500 signatures, but is allowed to enter the elections anyway, as the signatures are only needed for the party's name to be recognized by the authorities. Support for the party is near none.
