John McCain

John McCain is the Republican Party nominee for President in 2008. As with virtually all politicians, he has no understanding of the meaning of freedom. He is also an active supporter of the Drug War.

On immigration

McCain has supported a "physical barrier" (border wall) to lock immigrants out of the area of land that he identifies as the United States. He has also called for patrol aircraft to "secure" the border.

On Iraq

McCain constantly states his support for the war in Iraq. His website says that "...It would be a grave mistake to leave..."

He has also actively supported the surge, which resulted in many, many deaths of Americans and Iraqis, in addition to costing the tax victim millions of pounds.

On the Second Amendment

Despite the fact that the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution states that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed," John McCain believes in infringing the right of the people to keep and bear arms. On his website, it is stated that "John McCain believes in strict, mandatory penalties for criminals [who].. illegally possess a firearm," and he continually stresses that his opinion on allowing people to possess firearms if they follow the instructions on a piece of paper that is identified as "law".
