Gene the Christian Anarchist

Gene, the Christian Anarchist is a regular caller from Tennessee.

His call topics range quite a bit, but he is best known for his Christian anarchism, hence the moniker. This philosophy differentiates him from some Christians because he does not advocate forcing his beliefs or his will upon others. Oftentimes this is associated with pacifism, but he rejects this.

Gene believes in universal salvation and that hell is just a metaphor for the shame non-believers – such as Ian – will feel when they discover that there is a God.

During his first and only call in a series entitled "Snapshots of Anarchy," Gene explained how Chinese drivers miraculously manage to survive without stop signs. He has visited China several times and says it shows facets of an anarcho-capitalist economy, despite being a communist regime.
