The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS Church) is one of the largest Mormon fundamentalist denominations.

April 2008 raid

Based on a phone call alleging physical and sexual abuse of a 16 year old, Texas law enforcement raided the FLDS "Yearning for Zion Ranch", located just outside of Eldorado, Texas. To date, the alleged victim has not been identified.

Although all of the kidnapped children have now been returned to their parents by government officials, it is important to note that they have threatened to take them away if they do not do what the government says.
