Instructions
Help us "monkey wrench" the FCC bureaucrats by flooding them with bogus obscenity complaints. You'll need:
- Firefox (get it from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/) or get Torpark
- GreaseMonkey (get it from http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/).
- The FCC_Monkey script (get it from http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/4310.user.js).
Then visit The Parents Television Council
and The FCC online complaint forms. FCC_Monkey will kick in and randomly fill in the forms for you; just poke the Submit button to submit a complaint (after monkeying with the fields, if you like).
It's best to do this from a laptop connected to some random wireless network; preferably a different wireless network every day, so you're always sending from a different IP address. Or use Torpark to hide your IP address; if you do use Torpark, put the GreaseMonkey .xpi file into Torpark's Data/torpark/profile/extensions/ directory to install it.
Raw Data
The FCC_Monkey GreaseMonkey script reads these tables to generate random data. You can help out by editing this page and adding anti-liberty (or just plain annoying) shows and radio stations, and/or adding random, reasonable-sounding complaints. Remember, the idea is to waste the bureaucrats time by tracking down complaints that look legitimate, so please enter real radio stations and real shows.
Note: Please only enter shows that are on between 6AM and 9:30PM, on broadcast (not cable) channels (example legal times: 10:30am MWF or 7:00pm SunMTWThFSat or 3:00pm -- leaving out the days means monday-friday). The obscenity rules are different for shows late at night and for cable shows. It is OK to enter a show more than once if it plays on different stations at different times.

Note: complaints are show-specific (the show that they apply to is in the first column of the table, and must match exactly the first column of the showtimes table). Comments are used a generic filler. In both, the script will replace the special tags [firstname] and [lastname] with the randomly generated name.
