When doing an anti-drug war protest, a fake bong can be very effective at grabbing passerby's attention. This article describes one such bong that was used by the Libertarian club at Western Washington University for an anti-War on Drugs protest on 4/20, 2006

Construction
The WWU Libertarians' bong was constructed from galvanized metal ductwork that would typically be used for air conditioning. These components can probably be found at almost any hardware store.

Basic list of components, along with the price that each cost at Lowe's in April 2006:
- 7" wide by 60" long galvanized pipe - $9
- 6" to 4" taper reducer - $5
- 6" by 6" by 6" Y-joint - $9
- 7" to 6" taper reducer - $6
- 4" wide by 24" long galvanized pipe - $4
- 5" to 4" taper reducer - $5
- 96" long 2x4 - $3
Hardware:
- (4) 5" Corner braces - $2/each
- (8) Wood screws - $4 total
- (6) 1/4" machine screws with matching nuts - $1
