As you can see, I've created pages for each show starting with 2005-12-01 through the most recent, 2006-02-01. This was done with a Perl script I hacked together that wikifies the show notes text file that is distributed with the archive torrents. I'm planning on doing this for as far back as April 2005, as that's when the torrents start, and also for the AMP-only classics.

Before I do all this, does anyone have any suggestions for layout/content changes to the show pages? Most things would be fairly easy to implement now in my script, but adding them later would be much more tedious. --Rabidfurby 18:23, 2 February 2006 (Eastern Standard Time)

It takes the readme.txt file included with all the torrent files, where each show has a format like this:

I paste the URL in the first line into Firefox, paste the rest in, add wiki links, and save it. Repeat with the next show, until the end of the month, then run the script on the next month's readme.txt. Definitely. Also, I'm thinking we should have "FTL YYYY-MM-DD" for pagenames instead of "FTLYYYY-MM-DD". It's better looking, and there's no reason we need to exactly follow the format of the filenames. BTW, unless you (or anyone else) can think of something to add to the format output by my script, I'm going to start wikifiying show notes from the archives, working backwards to April. --Rabidfurby 00:37, 3 February 2006 (Eastern Standard Time)
