Q: How do I start a new issue article? mackler
The preferred way to do it is to search for the page you're trying to create in the search box on the left. If nothing is found, at the top of the page you'll see "No page with this exact title exists, trying full text search." The "this exact title" will be a link to the edit page of whatever you searched for. Click on it, and you can edit it. You can also make a link from a pre-existing page to a page that doesn't exist, then click that link to get to the new page's edit page. The first method is better because searching lets you know if there are any pages out there that are already similar to the one you're trying to create. Hope this helps. --Rabidfurby 11:45, 9 February 2006 (Eastern Standard Time)
Q: Okay, I've made the page, but it's not listed with the other "Issues." mackler
Pages are categorized by adding this to the bottom:
[[Category: Categoryname]]
Where Categoryname is the category you wish to add the page to, in this case Issues. Pages can have more than one category - just add another category tag, with the name of the additional category you want the page to appear under. You can create new categories by adding a page to a category that doesn't exist yet. BTW, it's considered polite to sign your posts on talk pages. Three tildes (the ~ character) signs your name, and four signs with the name and date, like so: Rabidfurby 17:06, 10 February 2006 (Eastern Standard Time)
