The Alaskan Independence Party is a political party that supports small government, privatization, end to environmental and other regulations, gun rights, and local control of Alaskan land, going as far as secession from the United States.

As of June of the 2006 mid-term elections, they had over 13,000 registered members, making it the state's third largest party.
